Through her training she has found so much peace and abundance and she hopes she can share that magic with every student in her class. Courtney has training in Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Tantra, Hatha, and Vinyasa, but always remains a student and loves to learn more in her free time. She believes that yoga can heal both physical and mental pain and her passion is to help others achieve that healing.
Jaimeleigh has studied yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda. Her inner-focused teaching style on the importance of clear intention; and directing the breath for energetic balancing in mind and being, have kept her devoted to her practice. She believes yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation; makes an gratifying connection to the physical body, bringing calmness and balance to the whole system.
Katee is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher, and bodyworker. Born and raised in Boise, she loves the outdoors, her husband and her dogs and cat. She's most passionate about using movement and ancient yogic tools to help her students and clients manage the stresses of daily life. It's all about getting out of our heads and into our epic bodies!
Dani Holscher has been teaching Hatha and Vinyasa for a few years and continuing to work on her personal practice. Connecting a single breath to every pose, energizing the body and clearing the thoughts to de-stress and realign the frame within. By linking touch to the mat, it allows concentration on the gratification of the melody to keep our figures in motion.
My philosophy towards yoga is reflected in my classes, which encourage inner and outer exploration. I want you to be kind to yourself as you listen to your body and find new horizons that you are capable of. My authentic and sometimes whimsical approach to class is designed to share ancient tradition and knowledge in a modern setting, all while having a good time!
In “The Yoga of Awareness”, Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Mary utilizes this ancient yogic science and technology and focuses on the activation of the vital life force or Kundalini energy located at the base of the spine. She was introduced to yoga and to the teachings of Yogi Bhajan where she became his student in Los Angeles in the early 1970’s. She is an accomplished musician and enjoys teaching all types of yoga and bringing in the added dimension of sound through the gong, harmonium, and various other instruments.
Teacher by trade, yogi at heart; teaching yoga is an inevitable union between a career of over 12 years of academic teaching and a practice that has guided and shaped me throughout my life.Yoga is a discipline that involves my whole being and supports health in my mind, body and spirit. Breath, movement, stillness, and focus are tools I return to, seeking and manifesting balance and clarity in each day.
It was during her soccer days when she was first introduced to yoga. She has continued to practice many styles of yoga to complement her active and adventurous lifestyle. She believes her regular yoga practice has allowed her to gain more strength, balance and peace of mind to continue to enjoy the things she loves, like running, biking and skiing.
Nancy brings to her practice a focus of Satya/truthfulness, Ahimsa/non-violence self/others, and Smriti/mindfulness. She hopes to inspire others to nurture and cherish themselves/others on and off the mat. Yoga has brought as sense of wholeness in her life and created a union of her body, mind, and spirit. Her focus in her class is to help others #create8stillness and bring sense of Shanti/peace into their lives.
Asana practice at TLYC is a given. Bringing the foothill communities together, allowing a safe and loving place to practice. Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance in other physical activities. Yoga will help your body with stretching, strengthening, and lengthening of the muscles. It is a great practice for core work, balance, health and well-being.
Meditation unites the mind and body in a way that eases tension, reduces inflammation, and promotes health and mental well being. Regular practice will create peace, improve your breathing, and clarity. Begin your day and end your day in stillness. Everything in between will just "flow".
It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Supporting the foothill neighborhoods and communities with yoga, meditation, and wellness. Sometimes finding the right aromatherapy, touch therapy, class or service, is the key to self love.

The little yoga Center- RULES
**NO LATE ENTRY POLICY. It is important to show up 10-15 minutes prior to class time scheduled. THE Main STUDIO DOOR WILL BE LOCKED 5 minutes before class is scheduled to begin if no one is at front desk. This timeis for the instructor to set up, prepare themselves for class, and other students to begin class on time . Yoga classes will start on time with NO LATE ENTRY PERMITTED. This is disruptive to the energy in the room, and does not honor our instructors, or fellow students time. If you need to cancel a class, please do so within 90 MIN. prior, allowing another student to sign in if class is full, or teacher to cancel a class that may be empty, and not drive to studio. EACH CLASS has a cap for number of students able to attend. So reserve your seat in class prior, as we will honor the students that registered online first. No- shows registered for classes will be charged for the class if it is not cancelled within 90 min. to class start time.
**No shoes, personal belongings- OTHER than mats, props, or water bottles, are permitted in studio AT ALL TIMES. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please do not attend a class if you are expecting or waiting on a call. This is a quiet space, please silence your cell phones and leave outside of studio. We appreciate your attention to this and our practice.
**Children under 11 can only attend classes that are set up on schedule "Classes for kids" with their ages specified. Children 11-15 must be accompanied by a parent in class. Kids 16-18 can attend classes alone; as long as they show respect and honor the class they are in, without disruptions or issues.
